
I shot this during a workshop in Charlotte last year. I used a white wall directly behind me (my back against it) as the light source for her face. The two lights behind her are bouncing off the wall and because it’s such a large source it creates a nice soft even light around the front of her. The 50mm 1.8 is known for flare, which I think, adds to this look. It's hard to believe this is a drawing room with desk, chairs and art supplies all over it.
